Pastor:    Randy Mason

Randy Mason is the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church which was started  by him and his wife in January of 2005.  He is married to Maureen Mason and has two children, Melissa and Michael. They have their home in Pella, Iowa. Randy is a pilot at Pella Corp and Maureen is a cook at the school but they are fulltime in the ministry.

Pastor:    Israel Becerra

Pastor Israel Becerra is the Hispanic pastor at Liberty Baptist. Pastor Becerra met his wife Paola at Rio Grande Bible Institute in Texas and were married December 30, 2005. He earned his degree from San Antonio, Texas' Baptist University of the Americas.  

Youth Minister:    Josh Colwell

Josh is the Youth Minister heading up the Youth group that meets on Wednesday evenings and him and his wife Lora are very active with the teens. Josh preaches when needed and also heads up the discipleship class on Tuesday evenings. They are the proud parents of 2 girls.  

Deacon:    Rex Gunderson

Rex is serving his second term as deacon and is shown with his wife Cheryl. Both Rex and Cheryl are actively serving the Lord at Liberty Baptist. Rex teaches adult Sunday school every Sunday at 10:00. Cheryl teaches the teen Sunday school on Sundays. Both Rex and Cheryl are involved with the youth group on Wednesday evenings and are part of the discipleship group on Tuesday evenings and have a music jam at their home every Thursday evening. Rex and Cheryl are both talented musicians and are valuable members of Liberty Baptist church.

Deacon:    Alan Kouba

Alan was elected as deacon in January of 2009.  Alan avails himself to preaching when pastor is away.  JoAnn teaches Sunday school and also decorates the church with the help of some of the other church members. Her beautiful flower arrangements and bulletin boards are worth coming to see!  Alan and JoAnn are farmers and JoAnn is a Mary Kay beauty consultant. 

Deacon:    Jeff Rasmussen

Jeff Rasmussen was elected as deacon January of 2009. He also does the books for tax purposes for Liberty Baptist. His wife Laura is head of the nursery and is learning to be an excellent wife and they are the proud parents of 2 children.

Deacon:    Don Robertson

Don Robertson was elected deacon in January of 2009. Don has been a member of the church for quite some time and is a living testimony of God's healing power as a survivor of brain cancer. He has been cancer free for 4 years. Praise God!

Deacon:    Glen Wiley

Glen Wiley was elected as deacon during our annual business meeting on January 31, 2010.  He has a wife Maureen and two daughters and they make their home in St. Anthony.  Glen takes care of the snow removal at Liberty Baptist. 

Clerk:    Cheryl Gunderson

Cheryl has been clerk since the early beginnings of Liberty Baptist Church. She takes care of the minutes of the business meetings, keeps on file all communications, documents and official reports and keeps records of membership and other duties.
